Cynthia's Bridesmaids
Below you will find a short biography on each one of Cynthia's bridesmaids. Click on the name of each person to read more about each bridesmaid.
Stephanie Prusa

Stephanie and CynthiaStephanie Prusa is the oldest sister to the bride.  Stephanie and Cynthia are eight years apart.  Stephanie is married to Jeff Prusa and they have a daughter, Abigail Grace.

Stephanie graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO in 2002 with a degree in Theatre and Communications.  She is now living in Kansas City with her family pursuing a career in dental hygiene. Stephanie begins dental hygiene school in August 2008.

Stephanie is serving as "Matron of Honor."  Cynthia can not imagine her wedding day without her big sister by her side!

Alison Atyia

Alison and CynthiaAlison Atyia is the big sister to Cynthia.  She is currently student teaching in Stillwater where she lives with her husband, Johnnie. Johnnie is serving as Grant's best man in the wedding.  Alison and Johnnie were married on August 2nd of this year.

Alison will graduate this December from Oklahoma State University.

Alison is serving as Cynthia's "Matron of Honor." Cynthia has chosen Alison to stand beside her on her wedding day because they have shared so many years, tears, and joys together.

Kaysha Stogsdill

Kaysha and CynthiaKaysha Stogsdill is one of Cynthia's closest friends.  Kaysha is currently a freshman in college attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Kaysha and Cynthia were childhood friends because Kaysha's mom was Cynthia's dad's secretary.  They lost touch throughout elementary school. During Cynthia's junior year in high school, they were reacquanainted through rides to tennis practice!  They share many stories of those time and are still the best of friends!

Cynthia could not imagine have her wedding day without Kaysha there. Kaysha has become a part of the Yirsa family so much, that she is considered a 4th daughter to Blaine and Vera Yirsa and a 3rd sister to the Yirsa sisters.

Sydney Gilmore

Sydney and CynthiaSydney Gilmore is a college friend of Cynthia and Grant.  Sydney is currently a junior at Oklahoma State University.

Syndney and Cynthia were introduced through Cynthia's sister, Alison.  While Cynthia was attending Missouri Southern State University, her sistere had talked about a girl named Sydney who reminded her a lot of Cynthia.  When Cynthia came to Oklahoma State University, she was able to meet Sydney and find an awesome friend!  Sydney is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet!

Cynthia is very excited that Sydney is able to share in this day with her and Grant!

Lindsey Granados

Lindsey Granados is Grant's older sister. She is married to Ian Granados whom is also serving as a groomsman.  Lindsey graduated from Stetson Law in 2007 with a Juris Doctorate.  She and her husband currently reside in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Cynthia is very excited to have her future sister-in-law standing beside her on her wedding day.  Lindsey has been such a blessing and encouragement to Cynthia throughout Grant and Cynthia's relationship!

Grant's Groomsmen
Below you will find short biographies on each one of Grant's groomsmen. Click on the name of each person for it to drop down.
Johnnie Atyia - Best Man
Grant and JohnnieJohnnie Atyia - What can I say about Johnnie...well we first hung out together one night after church in Seminole. A few people decided to go to Pizza Hut and we were leaving the church and saw Johnnie and invited him to come along. We began to talk as we ate our pizza and we somehow got on the topic of work and I told Johnnie that I might have a job for him if he was interested working for my parents and he said he would be interested. The next day I called him up and he came out to work with me. Johnnie had been going to OSU for awhile now but I was about to transfer to Stillwater and start at OSU during the Spring semester. I got a two bedroom apartment and Johnnie moved in with me the summer of 2006. We have shared a lot of great memories and we will eventually be brother-in-laws. Johnnie has asked me to be one of his groomsmen for their wedding on August 2, 2008.

Johnnie helped me with some of the details of my engagement as far as planning goes. He also helped me by taking video of the last part of the engagement, as Cynthia walked out to meet me and I proposed.
Ian Granados
Ian Granados is my brother-in-law. He married my sister Lindsey on June 11, 2005 at First Baptist Church Seminole. After they got married they moved to St. Petersburg Florida and my sister attended Stetson Law School. Ian worked at a IT sales company during that time. They recently moved to North Carolina and Ian works in the gaming industry.

I first met Ian when Lindsey brought him home to "meet the folks" it was a rather awkward meeting (as is usually the custom). Ian and I hit it off, however, and we found out that we had a lot in common as far as interests and activities. We are both technologically savvy and we liked to play Halo which at the time was the best game ever.

I was also a groomsmen in Ian and Lindsey's wedding.
Jeff Prusa
Jeff Prusa - I can't remember the first time I met Jeff but we hit it off. Jeff and I are a lot alike in many ways. Jeff graduated with a degree in psychology and my degree is half psychology and half religious studies so we both like to analyze things a lot. Jeff and I have spent many nights in the downstairs of the Yirsa household playing Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, and discussing important topics such as "ferret legging."

Cynthia and I love to go up to Kansas City, where Steph and Jeff live, to visit and spend time with them and their daughter, Abigail Grace who will be a little over a year old by the time our wedding comes around.
Josh Smith
Grant and JoshJoshua Smith - Josh and I have known each other for quite a long time. Our families have known each other for an even longer period of time. When I started going to FBC Seminole Josh was one of the guys in the group that I hung out with. We had a math class together at Seminole High School during my senior year, Algebra 3 I believe.

Josh, a.k.a. LoneRanger, was a "regular" at Halo LAN parties I would host. For those of you who don't know anything of what I said in that previous sentence let me present it to you in simpler terms: Josh played video games at my house a lot. Many nights you could find Josh and the rest of the gang playing volleyball "on the hill" at the church. Although I must say we sometimes played volleyball "in da pool."

Josh also helped me during the engagement. He handled the video camera as he and Joey followed Cynthia around campus.
Joey Eastwood
Grant and JoeyJoseph Eastwood - Joey and I met at the Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) in Stillwater. Joey is a cool guy and you can always count on him to make you laugh.

Joey is in Vet school so he still has a few years left at OSU. Joey helped me out during the engagement, he handled my Nikon D70 and followed Cynthia around on the scavenger hunt taking pictures of her along the way and did a most excellent job.
